At TechCrunch Disrupt 2026, Jas Khaira will speak on the Builders Stage about building lasting artificial intelligence companies. The event takes place from October 13 to 15 at Moscone West in San Francisco. Khaira is the global head of Blackstone N1 and Blackstone Growth, and head of tactical opportunities Americas. During the session titled “Building the Next Generation of AI Giants,” he will share what Blackstone looks for when backing category-defining companies and how founders should handle capital as they scale.

Blackstone recently agreed with co-investors to invest up to $600 million in primary equity in Indian AI infrastructure company Neysa. Blackstone also joined Hellman & Friedman and Goldman Sachs in July to back a $1.5 billion joint venture launching Ode with Anthropic. Disrupt 2026 expects over 10,000 attendees, 250 speakers, and 300 exhibiting startups across six industry stages.
