Cybersecurity startup Armadin has raised $255.5 million in a Series B funding round. This new investment values the company at over $2.5 billion. Andreessen Horowitz and Accel led the funding round, with participation from several other firms including Bain Capital Ventures, Redpoint, and Google Ventures. Founded by Kevin Mandia, who previously created Mandiant, Armadin has now raised more than $445 million total.

The latest financing arrives just six months after the company secured a $190 million Series A round in March. Armadin provides continuous security testing for businesses by using agentic swarms, which are groups of autonomous software programs that link vulnerabilities together to break into systems. This technology aims to help organizations find and fix security gaps before malicious actors or rogue artificial intelligence labs can exploit them.
