On Tuesday, Pinterest announced a new feature called Beauty Guides that uses artificial intelligence to turn saved beauty inspiration into practical plans for salon visits. Powered by Pinterest Intelligence, the tool translates saved hair and nail Pins into professional terminology used by stylists, such as balayage, root melt, and almond nails.

Users can access the guides within the app by tapping a get-the-guide button. At launch, the feature supports hairstyle, hair color, nail shape, and nail finish Pins. The action guides provide users with specific requests to achieve a desired look, estimated time requirements, price ranges, and maintenance details like touch-up frequency and trimming schedules.

A WireUnwired summary is already available. You can still write your own brief below for the reader community.
