Try to have a good basic in your departmental knowledge, practice lot of aptitude during your summer vacations and know your summer training topics well. Rest leave it to fate. Don't get upset, if you get rejected. If you have put in enough hardwork, you will get rewarded one day definitely, nothing will go in vain. There will be many companies visiting for placement, one day will be definitely yours. All the best.
